Delegates will learn how to plan and implement a backup and recovery strategy using Recovery Manager. They will perform backup and recovery operations using RMAN and Enterprise Manager. They will use Flashback features to recover from human error.

The Oracle Database 11g Release 2 Backup & Recovery with RMAN course is designed for database administrators, data warehouse administrators and technical support staff who are required to plan and implement database backup and recovery strategies for Oracle Database 11gR2 and Oracle Database 12c databases.
The Oracle Database 11g Release 2 Backup & Recovery with RMAN course is designed to provide the skills needed to plan and implement backup and recovery strategies for Oracle Database 11gR2 and Oracle Database 12c databases using RMAN and Flashback.
A working knowledge of Oracle SQL and Oracle Database Administration is required to attend the Oracle Database 11g Release 2 Backup & Recovery with RMAN course. This can be obtained by attendance on the Oracle SQL and either the Oracle Database 11g Release 2 DBA - Part I or Oracle Database 12c Administration courses.

Having previously undertaken a similar course in the past I expected this course to not be especially beneficial, however this was not the case at all.
