Red Hat Linux Certification
StayAhead's Red Hat Enterprise Linux courses are targeted to closely follow the official Red Hat curriculum for examinations.
StayAhead's courses help prepare delegates for the following Red Hat examinations:
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
- Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
Please Note: Delegates need to pass the RHCSA exam as well as the RHCE exam to become RHCE certified.
Certification and Examination Requirements
You must have an active RHCSA certification to receive a RHCE certification, but the RHCSA exam and the RHCE exam may be taken in any order.
The latest version of the RHCSA and RHCE certification and exams is 9, for further details please check the Red Hat website: www.europe.redhat.com/training/certification.
There is no certification requirement for candidates to attend a training course in order to receive certified status, however attending suitable courses will help considerably in preparing to take these examinations.
Following attendance on the relevant courses, delegates will need to dedicate time for self study and researching the topics covered on the course. They will also need to gain hands-on experience so they can put into practice what they have learnt on the courses.
Attending courses alone will not guarantee exam success, previous experience, practice, self study and aptitude are also key requirements.
Before taking any exam, delegates should ensure they have the recommended experience by checking the vendor website for current exam requirements and pre-assessment questionnaires.
N.B. Exams are not included as part of StayAhead Training courses.
