Oracle Database 10g DBA using Enterprise Manager Course Overview
This course is aimed at database administrators of small sized databases who need to carry out basic administration tasks on an Oracle 10g database. The course is also suitable for support staff and personnel who are required to carry out occasional administration or troubleshooting tasks. The focus is on using Enterprise Manager to teach delegates how to manage the database.
This course is not aimed at delegates who are full time Database Administrators. Full time Database Administrators should attend the Oracle Database 10g DBA - Part I and Oracle Database 10g DBA - Part II courses.

This Oracle Database 10g DBA using Enterprise Manager course covers the main topics of the optional Oracle exam #IZ0-041- Oracle Database 10g 2 Day DBA Assessment.
Exams are not included as part of the course.
Before taking any exam, ensure you have the recommended experience. The Oracle website lists all exam requirements and these are updated regularly.
Requirements
Delegates should have an understanding of relational database concepts and basic operating system knowledge. They should also have a working knowledge of Oracle SQL*Plus; this can be gained by attendance on the pre-requisite course. Knowledge of PL/SQL would be beneficial.
