Overview of our C# courses

C# Programming

C# is a modern object-oriented programming language developed by Anders Hejlsberg at Microsoftin 2000 in 2000 as a rival to Java. The C# language is very similar to Java. C# was created because Sun Microsystems (now part of Oracle Corporation) did not want Microsoft to make changes to Java. Thus Microsoft decided to create their own language programming language instead.

C# has grown quickly since it was first created, with extensive support from Microsoft, helping it to gain a large following; it is now one of the most popular programming languages in the world.

It is a general-purpose language designed for developing apps on the Microsoft platform and requires the .NET framework on Windows to work. C# is often thought of as a hybrid that takes the best of C and C++ to create a truly modernized language. Although the .NET framework supports several other coding languages, C# has quickly become one of the most popular.

C# can be used to create almost anything but is particularly strong at building Windows desktop applications and games. C# can also be used to develop web applications and has become increasingly popular for mobile development too. Cross-platform tools such as Xamarin allow apps written in C# to be used on almost any mobile device.

C++ Programming

C++ is a high-level, general-purpose programming language created by Bjarne Stroustrup around 1985. It was an extension of the C programming language, or "C with Classes". The language has expanded significantly over time, and modern C++ has object-oriented, generic, and functional features in addition to facilities for low-level memory manipulation. It is almost always implemented as a compiled language, and many vendors provide C++ compilers, including the Free Software Foundation, LLVM, Microsoft, Intel, Oracle, and IBM, so it is available on many platforms.
