Automating installations

This module covers the full automation of Red Hat Enterprise Linux installations using Kickstart. You’ll create and modify Kickstart files, understand pre- and post-install scripting, and configure various installation sources such as NFS, FTP and Apache. Learn how to streamline system deployments by setting up an install server and customising system configurations during the automated process. Practical exercises ensure that you can apply these skills to real-world scenarios. 

User and access control

Gain comprehensive knowledge of Linux user and group management, including default settings, password policies, and user profiles. Explore advanced access control through ACLs and masks, ensuring secure file and resource management.
