ORACLE PL/SQL STORED PROGRAM UNITS

This course, designed for Oracle programmers and developers, provides practical experience in writing triggers, functions, procedures and packages. It also introduces some of the Oracle-supplied packages including DBMS_LOB for handling Large Objects.

Objectives: |
By the end of this course, the delegate will be able to write and manage stored program units, implement package
constructs and features and handle Large Objects programmatically.
Together with the PL/SQL course, this course is suitable for delegates intending to sit the
Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate examination #1Z0-147: Program with PL/SQL.
This course is also suitable for delegates intending to sit the Oracle Internet Application Developer Rel. 6i Certified Professional examination #1Z0-101: Develop PL/SQL Program Units.

Requirements:

Practical experience of Oracle SQL*Plus or iSQL*Plus and a good working
knowledge of the fundamentals of the PL/SQL programming language is required.
This can be gained by attendance on the pre-requisite courses.
