This course is designed primarily for administrators, developers and support personnel who need to access and work with an Oracle Database. The course combines the subject material of the Oracle SQL and PL/SQL courses and is suitable for delegates intending to sit the Oracle Certified Professional examination SQL and PL/SQL (1Z0-001). |
Objectives: |
By the end of this course, the delegate will be able to:
- Select data from an Oracle Database using SQL*Plus
- Generate simple reports from selected data
- Create and alter tables, indexes and views
- Create, update and delete records
- Grant and revoke access privileges
- Access the Data Dictionary
- Describe the Basic Structure of a PL/SQL Block

- Declare and use Cursors
