The Oracle SQL Advanced course is designed to give delegates practical experience in using some of the more advanced features of Oracle SQL. Additional datatypes and the use of advanced SQL functions and expressions are covered together with enhanced table handling features.
The delegates will practise:
Anyone who needs to use the more advanced features of SQL to improve their productivity in querying and updating an Oracle database.
To provide the skills needed to use the more advanced features of Oracle SQL.
Together with the Oracle SQL course, the Oracle SQL Advanced course covers the major topics required for the following Oracle examinations: Oracle Database SQL Expert (IZ0-047) and Oracle Database SQL Fundamentals (1Z0-071).
Before taking any exam, ensure you have the recommended experience. The Oracle website lists all exam requirements and these are updated regularly.
Exams are not included as part of the course.
Delegates should have attended the Oracle SQL course or have a similar level of experience.

The course content was excellent and met the requirements very well for what we need for our support team roles and activities in oracle SQL. The trainer was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable regards Advanced SQL and shared this well with good explanations, live examples and through our own opportunity to do the exercise online. The trainer also took time for us to discuss how we could apply certain topics to our real system support and also listened to our suggestions on which topics might be more useful, which was well received. Good course all in all and will be very useful and applied in work.

Having previously undertaken a similar course in the past I expected this course to not be especially beneficial, however this was not the case at all. I have garnered some very useful new skills and knowledge. The trainer's subject knowledge and delivery are a credit to himself and Stayahead. I was constantly engaged and rarely found myself requiring a repeat of the coursework but when needed he was more than helpful in explaining where I was struggling.Laurence - Operations Support - Finance - September 2017
