The Oracle R12 Essentials for Implementers course is designed for functional implementers and for anyone who requires a full functional foundation as the basis for further R12 E-Business Suite training.

This Oracle R12 Essentials for Implementers course will benefit anyone who requires a comprehensive functional foundation. This might include functional implementers, those involved in providing first line support or operational managers who are involved in the implementation process.
Delegates will learn how to navigate within R12 Oracle E-Business Suite. They will be able to explain in concept the major architectural components of R12 Oracle E-Business Suite. They will recognize the features and benefits of Multiple Organization Access Control (MOAC). Delegates will practice defining Key and Descriptive Flexfields. They will appreciate key shared entities across the R12 Oracle E-Business Suite. They will learn the key features and benefits of R12 Oracle Workflow. They will understand the basic tasks and concepts behind R12 Oracle System Administration. Finally they will learn about the functionality of Oracle Workflow and Oracle Alerts.
A general awareness of the business processes to be managed and the areas of the eBusiness Suite being used or implemented in the delegates' own organization would be advantageous.
Delegates who are also going to attend the Oracle R12 System Administration course should note that there is an overlap of subject matter between the Oracle R12 Essentials for Implementers course and the Oracle R12 System Administration course.
